About the UWSAG Seal of Approval ProgramThe Seal of Approval Program was created to build an alliance between the award giver and the award seeker. Award seekers who have earned a UWSAG Seal of Approval Nominee Badge ("SOA"), can now be recognized as applicants with integrity. Award givers with an UWSAG rating, can place nominations for applicants to credit their efforts. How the Program WorksWebmasters who actively seek awards can request to be put on the SOA Nominee List. Verification will be made that the award seekers' site is valid and meets the basic criteria. The approved site will then be placed on the SOA Nominee list. When you apply for an award from an approved UWSAG rated award site, you can request a Seal of Approval nomination from that award site. If the award site feels you have upheld the responsibilities of the Seal of Approval Nominee program, they can place a nomination for your site. You can receive a nomination even if you did not win their award; as long as the award site is confident that you practiced the SOA Nominee guidelines when applying. The SOA Nominee List will show a running count of your nominations. Once you have received 10 nominations, you are authorized to display the Bronze UWSAG Seal of Approval Badge. After 25 nominations, you are authorized to display the Silver Seal of Approval Badge. And, 50 or more nominations, the Gold Seal of Approval Badge. Benefits of UWSAG ProgramThe goal of this program is to establish a consistency within the whole award giving/receiving process. The hopeful results are to build a trust between the award seeker and giver. An application from a site with the UWSAG Seal of Approval, assures the award site owner that you uphold and practice the responsibilities the SOA Nominee Program requires. The award seeker who applies at a UWSAG rated award site is assured they will be given the considerations the UWSAG Rating Program requires. This page has met or exceeded UWSAG Validation Standards |
