UWSAG Validation Standards

Each page on the UWSAG website is individually checked. Only those pages which are indicated as such have passed the UWSAG Validation Standard. At any time, because of changes or other unforeseen items, a page may not conform to UWSAG Validation Standards. When such page is brought to our attention or discovered, the page will either be brought up to UWSAG Validation Standards or indication of such standards will be removed from the page.

UWSAG Validation Standards

In order for a page to pass the UWSAG Validation Standards it must have been checked using at least two the following;

• W3C Markup Validation Service [D] according to HTML 4.01 Transitional Standards
• U.S. Section 508 Guidelines either using the valuator at WebXACT [D] or Cynthia Says [D].
• Lynx Browser compatibility using the Lynx Viewer [D].

In addition, the entire UWSAG Website will offer the following;

• A JavaScript which changes the entire site to grayscale.
• All external hyperlinks which open in a new window will be accompanied by a [D] link which opens in the same window.

Navigation Quick Links

UWSAG uses navigation keys to help those who may have difficulty using the mouse.

Global quick links are;

• "T" to navigate to the top of the page
• "B" to navigate to the bottom of the page
• "D" to navigate to this page
• "C" to navigate to the Classification Program
• "I" to navigate to the Incentive Program
• "U" to navigate to UWSAG Information Menu
• "L" to navigate to the UWSAG Legals
• "F" to navigate to the UWSAG Forum

Within each program the following keys can be used to help you learn about the program and to apply;

• "P" to navigate to the previous page
• "N" to navigate to the next page

To use these keys depends on the browser your using;

• For Internet Explorer use ALT + "KEY" then press Enter
• For Opera hold down Shift + Esc then press "KEY"
• For Apple browsers use CTRL + "KEY" then press Enter
• For Netscape, Mozilla and Firefox browsers use ALT + "KEY"
