Williamson, Inc. Launches Small Business Academy to Empower Local Entrepreneurs
Williamson Inc Small Business Academy, the foremost Chamber of Commerce and economic development agency serving Williamson County, is thrilled to unveil its Small Business Academy.
This new initiative is designed to provide essential support and education to small business owners, address their core challenges, and promote sustainable growth within the local business ecosystem.
Small businesses drive our local economy. They make up over 90% of Williamson, Inc.’s membership. They are integral to innovation, job creation, and the community’s quality of life—our goal at Williamson, Inc.

The Small Business Academy was created after extensive input from small business owners who are members of the Small Business Council. This group of local business leaders collaborates closely with Williamson, Inc. to shape the Academy’s curriculum and ensure it effectively addresses the unique needs and challenges of small businesses in Williamson County.

The Small Business Academy will begin on August 9 at the Williamson, Inc. office. Monthly sessions will cover crucial topics, including customer retention, financing strategies, effective business problem-solving, cost-effective marketing, and the latest social media trends.

- August 9 August 9ng Super Fans: How to Turn Your Customers into Lifelong Advocates – with Brittany Hodak, Author.
- September September: 13ing to Run and Scale Your Business – featuring a panel of bankers from Republic Bank, Pinnacle Bank, and Studio Bank.
- October October 11 Solve Business Problems – A Guide with Dr. Jeff Cornwall, Co-founder of The Entrepreneurial Mind and Professor Emeritus at Belmont University.
- November 8 on a Small Business Budget. Join Ahsan, President of AlphaGraphics Brentwood and a Small Business Council member.
- December 13: December 13ds in Social Media.
Each session will run from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Williamson, Inc. office. It will include structured networking and presentations.
